Thanksgiving Weekend...

Hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! Although these are trying times for so many people, there's an abundance to be thankful for in the grand scheme of things.

I wanted to share a frugal tip for our Thanksgiving tablescape. I used a 50% coupon at JoAnn's for 6 yards of Burlap and the total came around to $4.00. Not bad, eh? Anyway, with all the fall cleanup around here, I also managed to snag a wonderful twiggy limb for free....imagine that, FREE! So my ideas were put together on Thanksgiving morning: the burlap served as a rustic table covering and the twiggy limb was a part of the centerpiece. I had some paper leaves cut out from a die-cut machine and wrote down the blessings in my life on each leaf, and then punched a hole in the top of the leaf and secured it with twine to various twigs on the limb. I loved the simplicity of my tablescape!
